Biological Activity: (Rac)-Preclamol ((±)-3-PPP) is the racemate of (R)-Preclamol (HY-145454A) and Preclamol (HY-145454A). (Rac)-Preclamol exhibits autoreceptor agonistic activity at dopamine Dopamine Receptor, with almost no effect on postsynaptic dopamine receptors. (Rac)-Preclamol inhibits spontaneous motor activity and the γ-butyrolactone-induced increase in mature striatal Tyrosine Hydroxylase activity. (Rac)-Preclamol can be used in research related to neurological diseases[1].
