pH630 Deep Red maleimide, Thiol Reactive
pH630 Deep Red maleimide, Thiol Reactive is a fluorescent labeling reagent combining pH responsiveness and thiol targeting capabilities. It combines pH sensitivity and thiol-specific labeling, primarily used for highly specific, low-background fluorescent labeling and imaging of thiol-containing biomolecules in acidic environments (Ex/Em = 630/650 nm).

Biological Activity
pH630 Deep Red TFP Ester, Amine Reactive contains a maleimide group, which undergoes a specific Michael addition reaction with thiol-containing biomolecules (such as peptides, antibodies, and aptamers) at pH 6.5–7.5. This binding is very stable and does not easily dissociate after labeling. pH630 Deep Red maleimide, Thiol Reactive is pH sensitive; it emits almost no fluorescence (low background) at neutral conditions (pH 7.4). Its fluorescence signal is only activated and significantly enhanced when exposed to acidic environments (such as late endosomes and lysosomes, pH around 5.0).
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
