Poly(2-acrylamido-2-methyl-1-propanesulfonic acid)
Poly (2-acrylamido-2-methyl-1-propanesulfonic acid) (PAMPS) is a strong polysulfonic acid-type polyelectrolyte with proton-conducting and acid-catalytic capabilities. When compounded with Laponite nanoparticles and N,N'-methylenebisacrylamide, Poly (2-acrylamido-2-methyl-1-propanesulfonic acid) forms a hybrid crosslinked hydrogel with self-healing ability, high modulus, compressive strength and resilience.
