B7-2/CD86 Protein, Rat (HEK293, His)

B7-2/CD86 Protein, Rat (HEK293, His), a second CTLA4 ligand expressed on murine B cells, can serve as a costimulatory molecule for T cell activation^[1][2].

The inhibition of CD28 interactions with B7-2 molecules may represent a novel therapeutic target for the treatment of lung mucosal allergic inflammation. B7-2, but not B7-1, is upregulated on lung B cells after allergen provocation^[1][2].
