Background
KMT4 is a histone methyltransferase that methylates histone H3 at Lys-79. It shows a preference for nucleosomes as substrates over free histones (by similar: PubMed:12123582). Additionally, KMT4 has DNA-binding activity (by similar: PubMed:12628190).
