Biological Activity
Description
GPR75 Protein, Human (HEK293, Flag, His) is the recombinant human-derived GPR75, expressed by HEK293 , with Flag and His labeled tag. ,
Background
GPR75 is a G protein-coupled receptor activated by the chemokine CCL5/RANTES. It is likely coupled to heterotrimeric Gq proteins, stimulating inositol trisphosphate production and calcium mobilization upon activation. Along with CCL5/RANTES, it may contribute to neuron survival by activating a downstream signaling pathway involving PI3, Akt, and MAP kinases. CCL5/RANTES may also regulate insulin secretion in pancreatic islet cells through this receptor's activation.
