PKA C gamma is a protein kinase that phosphorylates a large number of substrates in the cytoplasm and the nucleus.
The activity was measured by off-chip mobility shift assay(MSA). The enzyme was incubated with fluorecence-labeled substrate and Mg(or Mn)/ATP. The phosphorylated and unphosphorylated substrates were separated and detected by MSA device. When the protein concentration is 0.39 nM, the conversion rate is about 20%.
