Biological Activity

Description

Rnase 3 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived Rnase 3 protein, expressed by HEK293, with C-6*His labeled tag.

Background

Rnase 3 is a cytotoxin and helminthotoxin with low-efficiency ribonuclease activity. It exhibits a wide range of biological activities, including antibacterial effects, preferentially targeting Gram-negative strains but also affecting Gram-positive strains by causing cytoplasmic membrane depolarization. Additionally, it promotes outer membrane detachment in E.coli, alters overall cell shape, and leads to partial loss of cellular content.

Verified Bioactivity

The enzyme activity of this recombinant protein is testing in progress, we cannot offer a guarantee yet.
