Background
SRPX2 Protein serves as a ligand for the urokinase plasminogen activator surface receptor, contributing to angiogenesis by inducing endothelial cell migration and the formation of vascular networks. Additionally, it plays a crucial role in cellular migration and adhesion, elevates phosphorylation levels of FAK (focal adhesion kinase), and interacts with and enhances the mitogenic activity of HGF (hepatocyte growth factor).
