Syndecan-2 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His)
Based on 1 Customer Validation
Syndecan-2 protein has a PDZ domain and the same protein-binding activity, regulates dendritic morphogenesis, is located primarily in neuronal cell bodies and synapses, and predicts cell surface activity. Its genes show ubiquitous expression, with prominent presence in structures such as the skull, embryonic stroma, genitourinary system, jaws, and retina. Syndecan-2 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived Syndecan-2 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Description

Syndecan-2 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived Syndecan-2 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.
Background
The Syndecan-2 protein is predicted to possess PDZ domain binding activity and identical protein binding activity. It plays a role in the regulation of dendrite morphogenesis and is predicted to be located in the neuronal cell body and synapse, with activity on the cell surface. The gene is expressed ubiquitously in various structures, including the cranium, embryo mesenchyme, genitourinary system, jaw, and retina. Syndecan-2, the human ortholog of this gene, has been implicated in cleft lip and cleft palate, highlighting its potential significance in developmental processes. In the reference dataset, it demonstrates widespread expression, including in the adult bladder, embryonic limb at E14.5, and various other tissues.
