Description
USP4 Protein, Human (Active, sf9, His, Flag) is the recombinant human-derived USP4, expressed by sf9 insect cells , with His, Flag labeled tag. ,
Background
USP4 is a deubiquitinating enzyme that removes conjugated ubiquitin from target proteins. Its functions include: deubiquitinating PDPK1; deubiquitinating TRIM21; deubiquitinating the receptor ADORA2A, thereby increasing the amount of functional receptor at the cell surface; deubiquitinating HAS2; deubiquitinating RHEB in response to EGF signaling, promoting mTORC1 signaling; potentially regulating mRNA splicing through deubiquitination of the spliceosomal protein PRPF3, which may destabilize interactions within the U4/U6.U5 snRNP; and possibly playing a role in ER quality control. by similar: USP4's deubiquitination activity targets diverse substrates, including signaling proteins, receptors, and spliceosomal components, highlighting its broad regulatory roles in cellular processes.
