Asoxime dimesylate (HI-6 dimesylate) is an orally active thiosemicarbazone-based antidote. Asoxime dimesylate is a reversible inhibitor of AChE, and its core mechanism of action is to re-activate AChE inhibited by nerve toxins, thereby restoring the cholinergic nerve function.
