Tau Peptide (337–368) (Repeat 4 Domain) is the core fragment of the fourth microtubule-binding repeat domain (R4) of the Tau 4R isoform. Located at the extreme C-terminus of the microtubule-binding region (MTBR; aa 244-368) and containing key sequences downstream of PHF6 (306-311; VQIVYK), it serves as a critical functional domain for Tau fibrillation and microtubule binding.
