Phenylalanine aminolyase (PAL)[1]
2-Aminoindan-2-phosphonic acid (0-2.0 μM; 0-28 days) significantly inhibits PAL activity (reducing it to 35.1%-82.7% of that in untreated cells on days 4-28) and decreases the accumulation of total phenolic compounds, Echinacoside (HY-N0020), Verbascoside (HY-N0021), Cistanoside A (HY-N0023), Tubuloside A (HY-N2155) and Salidroside (HY-N0109); except for Salidroside, PAL activity shows a strong correlation with the accumulation of all tested compounds[1].
