(-)-3--2-hydroxy-8-methoxy-1,4-naphthoquinone shows no activity against lipopolysaccharide-induced nitric oxide production^[1].
In Vitro	(-)-3-[2-(Acetyloxy) propyl]-2-hydroxy-8-methoxy-1,4-naphthoquinone (20 h) shows no inhibitory effect on nitric oxide production in LPS-activated RAW 264.7 murine macrophages (IC₅₀ > 50 μM) and exhibits no cytotoxicity at a concentration of 20 μg/mL^[1].
