Description

3-(Boc-amino) propyl bromide is an alkylating reagent used for the N-alkylation of benzopyranotriazolopyrimidine-based MDM2-p53 protein-protein inhibitor 4 to prepare Compound 13[1].

In Vitro

Compound 13 inhibits the MDM2-p53 protein-protein interaction with an HTRF IC50 of 4.4 μM; it fails to induce p21 expression in SJSA-1 cells at concentrations up to 50 μM, and shows a residual rate of 44% after incubation with rat liver microsomes[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
