Biological Activity
Description
In Vitro
5-Amino-2'-deoxyuridine supports robust DNA polymerization, faithful base-pairing with A, and exhibits interference at specific positions of the E. coli ada promoter when bound to Ada protein[1].
5-Amino-2'-deoxyuridine remains stable under thermal cycling conditions in Taq polymerase reaction buffer[1].
5-Amino-2'-deoxyuridine undergoes selective chemical reaction with permanganate, enabling DNA strand cleavage[1].
