Cationic BSA Protein
Based on 1 publication(s) in Google Scholar
Cationic BSA Protein (Cationic Bovine Serum Albumin) is a bovine serum albumin (BSA) modified with excess ethylenediamine, which has enhanced immunogenicity compared to native BSA. Positively charged primary amines block all negatively charged carboxyl groups, making Cationic BSA Protein a cationic protein. Cationic BSA Protein has remarkable neuroprotective effects on ischemic stroke when in combination with Tanshinone IIA (HY-N0135) .

Biological Activity
Please do not refer to only one article to determine the experimental conditions. It is recommended to determine the optimal experimental conditions (animal strain, age, dosage, frequency and cycle, detection time and indicators, etc.) through preliminary experiments before the formal experiment.
Cationic BSA Protein can be used in animal modeling to create urinary system disease models[1][2].
Administration: 1-9 mg/kg • i.v.• a single dose for 4 weeks[1]
(2) ICR mice received the nephritogenic antigen intravenously at 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 mg/kg, three times per week every other day, two weeks after immunization by the same route with 0.2 mg of Cationic Bovine Serum Albumin emulsified in anequal volume of complete Freund's adjuvant (HY-153808)[1].
Morphological changes: Cationic Bovine Serum Albumin administration exhibited diffuse thickening of the GBM and no significant mesangial proliferation[1].
Molecular changes: Cationic Bovine Serum Albumin administration H mice showed strong granular fluorescent intensity of IgG and C3 along the glomerular capillary wall (GCW). The Th2 type immune response predominated in mice[1].
Pathology change: The basement membrane showed severe irregular thickening of the laminae rarae, interna and externa and subepithelial deposits were layered and more confluent, suggesting glomerular size selectivity defect[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
