H-D-Val-Leu-Lys-AFC
H-D-Val-Leu-Lys-AFC (Plasmin substrate) is a plasmin-specific fluorescent substrate. H-D-Val-Leu-Lys-AFC can be cleaved to generate a fluorescent signal, which is used to determine plasmin activity. Abs/Em=380/500 nm.

Biological Activity
Description
In Vitro
H-D-Val-Leu-Lys-AFC (6 μM; 30 min) enables quantitative detection of plasmin activity generated by Enterococcus faecalis-mediated activation of human glutamyl plasminogen in the presence of uPA, and the measured activity correlates with bacterial concentration[1].
