Biological Activity
Description
CDK20 Protein, Mouse (sf9, GST) is the recombinant mouse-derived CDK20, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with GST labeled tag.
Background
CDK20 is a protein involved in cell growth, which activates CDK2 (a kinase critical for cell cycle control) by phosphorylating its 'Thr-160' residue (by similarity). It is essential for robust Sonic hedgehog (Shh) signaling responses during neural tube development. Additionally, CDK20 cooperates with TBC1D32 to regulate primary cilium structure by coordinating the assembly of the ciliary membrane and axoneme, enabling proper GLI2 activation in response to SHH signaling.
