Description

Coronin-6/CORO6 Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived Coronin-6/CORO6 protein, expressed by E. coli, with N-6*His labeled tag.

Background

Coronin-6, also known as coronin-like protein E (Clipin-E), is a protein encoded by the human CORO6 gene. Coronin-6 belongs to the Coronin family and is an actin-binding protein. The human CORO6 gene is located on chromosome 17, 17 p11.2. The CORO6 gene is well conserved in eukaryotes ranging from animals to fungi. CORO6 is expressed at high levels in the larynx, nerves and muscles. CORO6 is also highly expressed in breast tumors. During human development, CORO6 is highly expressed in blastocysts and adults. Coronin-6 promotes liver cancer progression by enhancing the typical Wnt/ beta-catenin signaling pathway. Coronin-6 is a key regulator of acetylcholine receptor (AChR) aggregation in the postsynaptic region of neuromuscular junction (NMJs) by regulating receptor-anchored actin cytoskeleton[1][2][3][4][5].

<1 EU/μg, determined by LAL method.

Reconstitution

It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 μg/mL in ddH2O. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% BSA, 5% HSA, 10% FBS or 5% Trehalose).

Storage & Stability

Stored at -20°C for 2 years from date of receipt. After reconstitution, it is stable at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for longer (with carrier protein). It is recommended to freeze aliquots at -20°C or -80°C for extended storage.

Shipping

Room temperature in continental US; may vary elsewhere.
