Dectin-1/CLEC7A Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His, solution)
Based on 1 Customer Validation
Dectin-1/CLEC7A protein has (1->3)-β-D-glucan binding and pattern recognition receptor activity, participates in immune responses and recognizes specific structures. It regulates cytokine production and responds to fungal pathogens while being active on the cell surface. Dectin-1/CLEC7A Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His, solution) is the recombinant mouse-derived Dectin-1/CLEC7A protein, expressed by HEK293 , with N-His labeled tag.

Biological Activity
Dectin-1/CLEC7A protein has (1->3)-β-D-glucan binding and pattern recognition receptor activity, participates in immune responses and recognizes specific structures. Dectin-1/CLEC7A Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His, solution) is the recombinant mouse-derived Dectin-1/CLEC7A protein, expressed by HEK293 , with N-His labeled tag.
The Dectin-1/CLEC7A protein is predicted to possess (1->3)-beta-D-glucan binding activity and pattern recognition receptor activity, making it capable of recognizing specific structures and participating in immune responses. It is also predicted to play a role in various processes, such as phagocytosis and recognition, as well as positively regulating the production of cytokines involved in inflammatory responses and responding to fungal pathogens. Functionally, it is known to be active on the cell surface. The protein is expressed in multiple tissues, including the brain, gut, limb, musculature, and ventral grey horn. In humans, mutations in the orthologous gene CLEC7A have been implicated in aspergillosis and chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis, suggesting its importance in immune defense against these conditions (Alliance of Genome Resources.April 2022). Moreover, the Dectin-1/CLEC7A protein shows broad expression across various tissues, including the lung (RPKM 2.7), bladder (RPKM 1.9), and 16 other tissues.
