Description
PNLIPRP2 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived PNLIPRP2 protein, expressed by HEK293, with C-6*His labeled tag.
Background
Pancreatic lipase-related protein 2 is a type of lipase that hydrolyzes triglycerides and galactoglycerol. In newborns, it may play a major role in the pancreas digesting dietary fats, such as butterfat globules, which are rich in long-chain triglycerides. PNLIPRP2 has low phospholipase activity and facilitates perforin-dependent cell lysis in cytotoxic T cells. The OPPC-rich lipid membrane domain produced by PNLIPRP2 recruits the protein STX4 by selectively interacting with the STX4 transmembrane domain to promote the fusion of the SLC6A-containing transport vesicles with the plasma membrane, and promote the surface expression of the dopamine transporter SLC6A3/DAT on the neurite tip[1][2][3][4].
