Tryptase alpha/beta 1 protein (TPSAB1) belongs to a family of trypsin-like serine proteases, and is enzymatically active and get involved in proteolysis only as heparin-stabilized tetramers, TPSAB1 is also resistant to all known endogenous proteinase inhibitors. Beta tryptase appears to be the main isoenzymes expressed in mast cells; while alpha tryptase is predominate in basophils. TPSAB1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived TPSAB1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

TPSAB1is enzymatically active and get involved in proteolysis only as heparin-stabilized tetramers, and TPSAB1is resistant to all known endogenous proteinase inhibitors. Beta tryptase appears to be the main isoenzymes expressed in mast cells; whereas in basophils, alpha tryptase predominate. TPSAB1 has been implicated as mediators in the pathogenesis of asthma, inflammatory bowel disease, inflammatory arthritis and other allergic and inflammatory disorders[1][2][3][4].
