uPAR Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His)
Based on 1 Customer Validation
The uPAR protein acts as a receptor for urokinase plasminogen activator, facilitating plasmin formation and signal transduction activation. It interacts with SRPX2 and forms a monomer.uPAR also interacts with MRC2 and SORL1, reducing PLAUR internalization.Additionally, the PLAUR-PLAU-SERPINE1 complex interacts with SORL1.uPAR Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived uPAR protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.
- Species: Mouse
- Source: HEK293

Storage:Stored at -20°C for 2 years from date of receipt. After reconstitution, it is stable at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for longer (with carrier protein). It is recommended to freeze aliquots at -20°C or -80°C for extended storage.
Biological Activity

The uPAR protein functions as a receptor for urokinase plasminogen activator and plays a crucial role in localizing and facilitating the formation of plasmin. Additionally, it mediates signal transduction activation effects of U-PA independently of proteolysis. It is predominantly found as a monomer and interacts with SRPX2 through its UPAR/Ly6 domains. uPAR also interacts with MRC2 and SORL1, with the latter interaction reducing PLAUR internalization. Moreover, the ternary complex consisting of PLAUR-PLAU-SERPINE1 also interacts with SORL1.
Recombinant Mouse PLAUR / CD87 / uPAR Protein (His Tag) immobilized on CM5 chip, can bind Recombinant Human Urokinase / PLAU Protein (His Tag) with an affinity constant of 9.79 nM as determined in an SPR assay (Biacore 8K).
