CpG ODN 10101 (ODN 10101; CPG 10101) is a selective agonist targeting TLR9, a synthetic oligodeoxynucleotide modified with phosphate thioester. CpG ODN 10101 activates B cells and plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs), inducing the production of cytokines and chemokines such as interferon-IFN-α, interferon-inducible protein IP-10, and 2'5'-oligoadenylate synthase (2'5'-OAS), regulating innate immunity and promoting Th1 adaptive immune responses. CpG ODN 10101 also possesses antiviral properties and enhances vaccine immunogenicity, making it suitable as an immunomodulator and vaccine adjuvant for vaccine development in chronic hepatitis C and infectious diseases such as melioidosis, pertussis, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) .

Finafloxacin is an orally active fourth-generation fluoroquinolone broad-spectrum antibiotic. Finafloxacin exhibits stronger antibacterial activity in acidic pH environments and is not easily affected by bacterial multidrug efflux transporters. Finafloxacin is effective against a variety of extracellular pathogenic bacteria, and can also accumulate in macrophages, showing excellent antibacterial activity against intracellular Staphylococcus aureus, Listeria monocytogenes, Legionella pneumophila, Burkholderia pseudomallei, and other pathogens. Finafloxacin has been approved by the U.S. FDA for research on acute otitis externa mediated by Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Finafloxacin is also used in studies related to diseases such as melioidosis, inhalational tularemia, and inhalational plague .

GC-072 is an orally active, 4-oxoquinolizine antibiotic that selectively inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and Topo IV enzymes. GC-072 does not inhibit human topoisomerases I and II. GC-072 demonstrates strong antimicrobial activity against various bacterial strains, including Gram-positive, Gram-negative, and resistant bacteria. GC-072 also exhibits bactericidal activity against Burkholderia pseudomallei both extracellularly and intracellularly, leading to dose-dependent survival in mice exposed to lethal inhalational models of B. pseudomallei infection. GC-072 can be used for the research of melioidosis .
