Silk Fibroin Methacryloyl
Based on 1 Customer Validation
Silk Fibroin Methacryloyl (FibMA) is methacrylated silk fibroin with excellent biocompatibility, stable mechanical properties and good processing properties, and was selected as the substrate for multifunctional microneedle (MN) patches. . MN patches made of Silk Fibroin Methacryloyl exhibit excellent biocompatibility, sustained drug release, pro-angiogenic, antioxidant and antibacterial properties depending on the specific drug encapsulated. Silk Fibroin Methacryloyl needs to self-assemble into fibrous hydrogel under the action of photoinitiator LAP (HY-44076), and target bioactive adhesion sites, play an inherent supporting role for tissue cells and biodegradable activity.
Application: cell culture, biological 3D printing, tissue engineering, etc.

Biological Activity
Application: cell culture, biological 3D printing, tissue engineering, etc.
Preparation Method:
The recommended concentration is 8-20% (w/v). Place the required amount of product into a centrifuge tube and immediately stir/shake several times at room temperature to dissolve for 0.5-1 hour (avoid intense sonication, high temperatures, and strong shear). Once completely dissolved, sterilize using a 0.22 μm sterile syringe filter. (Immediately stir/shake after adding the solvent to ensure full contact between the sample and the solvent, ensuring dispersion.)
Silk fibroin solution is a semi-stable sol; it is recommended to be prepared and used immediately. A small amount of insoluble matter is normal. It is recommended to remove insoluble matter by centrifugation or filtration to avoid inducing additional silk fibroin precipitation.
