Troponin I (104-115)
Troponin I (104-115) is a polypeptide derived from Troponin I. Troponin I is an inhibitor of Acto-S1-TM ATPase, with an IC50 of 2.25 μM against skeletal muscle Acto-S1-TM ATP enzyme. Troponin I is used in research on muscle contraction-relaxation and restrictive cardiomyopathy.

Biological Activity
The native Troponin I (104-115) peptide mimics full-length troponin I to inhibit rabbit skeletal acto-S1-tropomyosin ATPase activity with a C50 of 0.6 nmol per assay, achieving 60.6% maximum inhibition at saturating concentrations[1].
Troponin I (104-115) is sufficient to achieve maximum inhibition of reconstituted skeletal muscle acto-S1-TM ATPase activity, with an IC50 of 2.25 μM, but is less potent than full-length troponin I or the larger Troponin I (96-148) fragment[3].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
