β1-3,4,6 Galactosidase is a broad specificity exoglycosidase that catalyzes the hydrolysis of terminal, non-reducing β1-3 β1-4 and β1-6 linked galactose residues from oligosaccharides, with β1-6 linked galactose residues at a slower rate.

Product Information
This product is expressed by recombinant E. coli. The buffer composition is 20 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 500 mM NaCl, 10% glycerol. It can be used to release β(1→3)-, β(1→4) and β(1→6)-linked galactose from the non-reducing end of complex oligosaccharides.
Instructions
1. Add substrate according to the reaction system, 50 mM sodium acetate, 5 mM CaCl2, pH 5.0, mix well, and add appropriate amount of β1-3,4,6-galactosidase (according to the reaction requirements);
2. After mixing, incubate the sample at 37°C for 2-4 h.
Notes
When the system is scaled up, the incubation time or enzyme amount needs to be adjusted according to the actual situation, and low-speed shaking can be used for mixing.
