1α-Benzoyloxy-3α-acetoxyl-7α-hydroxy-12β-ethoxynimbolinin 

1α-Benzoyloxy-3α-acetoxyl-7α-hydroxy-12β-ethoxynimbolinin is a nimbolinin-type limonoid and cytotoxin, found in the fruits of Melia toosendan. 1α-Benzoyloxy-3α-acetoxyl-7α-hydroxy-12β-ethoxynimbolinin exhibits in vitro cytotoxicity against human hepatocellular carcinoma, human lung cancer, and human breast cancer cells. 1α-Benzoyloxy-3α-acetoxyl-7α-hydroxy-12β-ethoxynimbolinin can be used for the research of hepatocellular carcinoma, lung cancer, breast cancer^[1].

1α-Benzoyloxy-3α-acetoxyl-7α-hydroxy-12β-ethoxynimbolinin shows selective cytotoxicity against SMMC-7721, A-549, and MCF-7 human tumor cell lines with IC₅₀ values of 21.2, 39.5, and 26.1 μM, respectively, and no cytotoxicity (IC₅₀ > 40 μM) against HL-60 and SW480 cells^[1].
