Biological Activity
Key intermediates in the synthesis of cephalosporins are 7-Aminocephalosporanic acid (HY-B1434) and 7-Aminodesacetoxycephalosporanic acid (7-ADCA). 7-Aminodesacetoxycephalosporanic acid (7-ADCA) is produced from Penicillin G (HY-N7139) by Penicillium chrysogenum by a process that comprises several polluting chemical steps, followed by enzymatic deacylation by using penicillin acylase[1].
