Biological Activity
7-O-Galloylcatechin (Compound 3) inhibits the growth of murine melanoma B16F10 cells with a GI50 of 9.0 mM, human uterus carcinoma HeLa cells with a GI50 of 38 mM, and human gastric adenocarcinoma MK-1 cells with a GI50 of 41 mM, with stronger activity against B16F10 cells relative to the other two cell lines[1].
