Verification Image

Flow cytometric analysis of 1X10^6 HL-60 cells labeling CD122 Antibody(green). Cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and permeabilised with 0.2% Triton X-100. Then stained with the primary antibody at 1/400 dilution overnight at 4℃. AF 488 Goat Anti-mouse IgG H&L was used as the secondary antibody at 1/1,000 dilution for 45 minutes at room temperature. Mouse IgG Isotype Control (gray) was used as the isotype control, cells without incubation with primary antibody were used as the unlabeled control (red).

Background

Function：Receptor for interleukin-2. This beta subunit is involved in receptor mediated endocytosis and transduces the mitogenic signals of IL2. Probably in association with IL15RA, involved in the stimulation of neutrophil phagocytosis by IL15 (PubMed:15123770, PubMed:31040185)

Subcellular Localization：Cell membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein

Subunit：Non-covalent dimer of an alpha and a beta subunit. IL2R exists in 3 different forms: a high affinity dimer, an intermediate affinity monomer (beta subunit), and a low affinity monomer (alpha subunit). The high and intermediate affinity forms also associate with a gamma subunit. Interacts with SHB upon interleukin stimulation
