Flow cytometric analysis of 1X10^6 Ramos cells labeling MAP4K1 Antibody(red). Cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and permeabilised with 0.2% Triton X-100. Then stained with the primary antibody at 1/400 dilution overnight at 4℃. AF 488 Goat Anti-mouse IgG H&L was used as the secondary antibody at 1/1,000 dilution for 45 minutes at room temperature. Mouse IgG Isotype Control (blue) was used as the isotype control, cells without incubation with primary antibody were used as the unlabeled control (black).
Background

Function
MAP4K1 is a Serine/threonine-protein kinase, which plays a role in the response to environmental stress. Appears to act upstream of the JUN N-terminal pathway. Activator of the Hippo signaling pathway which plays a pivotal role in organ size control and tumor suppression by restricting proliferation and promoting apoptosis. MAP4Ks act in parallel to and are partially redundant with STK3/MST2 and STK4/MST2 in the phosphorylation and activation of LATS1/2, and establish MAP4Ks as components of the expanded Hippo pathway. May play a role in hematopoietic lineage decisions and growth regulation. Together with CLNK, it enhances CD3-triggered activation of T-cells and subsequent IL2 production[1][2][3].

Expression
Tissue_specificity:Expressed primarily in hematopoietic organs, including bone marrow, spleen and thymus. Also expressed at very low levels in lung, kidney, mammary glands and small intestine -
