Antifungal agent-168
Antifungal agent-168 is an antifungal agent with broad-spectrum inhibitory activity against a variety of pathogenic fungi. Antifungal agent-168 interacts with β-glucan in the cell wall of Botrytis cinerea, disrupting the physiological functions of the cell wall. Antifungal agent-168 damages the hyphal cell membrane, causes electrolyte leakage, and promotes ROS release to accelerate fungal death. Antifungal agent-168 can be used in studies related to Botrytis cinerea infection.

Biological Activity
Antifungal agent-168 (Compound X7) (5-120 μg/mL; 72 h) exhibits broad-spectrum in vitro antifungal activity against Colletotrichum lagenarium, Valsa mali, Botrytis cinerea, and Fusarium graminearum, with an EC50 of 0.089 μmol/mL against Botrytis cinerea[1].
Antifungal agent-168 (40 μg/mL; 72 h) disrupts the morphology of Botrytis cinerea mycelium, causing structural damage to cell walls or membranes[1].
Antifungal agent-168 (5 μg/mL; 24 h) induces oxidative stress in Botrytis cinerea mycelium, promoting the release of reactive oxygen species[1].
Antifungal agent-168 (0-40 μg/mL; 72 h) primarily interacts with β-glucan in the cell wall of Botrytis cinerea in a concentration-dependent manner, disrupting normal cell wall physiological functions[1].
Antifungal agent-168 (10-40 μg/mL; 0.5-24 h) damages the cell membranes of Botrytis cinerea mycelium in a dose- and time-dependent manner, leading to electrolyte leakage and increased relative conductivity[1].
Antifungal agent-168 (2-32 μg/mL) exhibits low in vitro cytotoxicity to HEK-293T cells, with >80% cell survival at concentrations up to 16 μg/mL[1].
