Definition:

Experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) model, an animal model of immune diseas, is a model of the neuroimmune system responding to priming with central nervous system (CNS)-restricted antigens. EAE is induced by priming with a large number of CNS-derived antigens.
