In Vitro

Ethyl (S)-2-aminobutanoate (Example 97) hydrochloride exhibits no anti-DENV-2 activity in Huh-7 replicon cells, with an EC50 >100000 nM[1].
Ethyl (S)-2-aminobutanoate (4 days) hydrochloride exhibits antiviral activity against RSV A2 in NHBE cells, with an EC50 of 1368 nM[1].
Ethyl (S)-2-aminobutanoate (4 days) hydrochloride exhibits antiviral activity against RSV A2 in HEp-2 cells, with an EC50 of 537 nM[1].
