Heparin disaccharide III-S trisodium 

Heparin disaccharide III-S trisodium (Compound SHH-7) is a heparin-derived disaccharide. Heparin disaccharide III-S trisodium acts as an inhibitor of spontaneous IL-8 and IL-1β secretion by intestinal epithelial cells. Heparin disaccharide III-S trisodium functions at the post-translational stage and does not reduce mRNA or intracellular mediator levels^[1].

Heparin disaccharide III-S (0.01-100 ng/mL; 24 h) trisodium dose-dependently inhibits the spontaneous secretion of IL-8 and IL-1β by HT-29 intestinal epithelial cells, with significant inhibitory effects observed starting at a concentration of 0.01 ng/mL^[1].
Heparin disaccharide III-S (0.01-100 ng/mL; 24 h) trisodium dose-dependently inhibits the spontaneous secretion of IL-8 and IL-1β by Caco-2 intestinal epithelial cells. The significant inhibitory effect on IL-8 starts at 0.1 ng/mL, while that on IL-1β starts at 0.01 ng/mL^[1].
