Eligibility

Time Frame

SCI papers published between January 1, 2026, and December 31, 2026.

Participation Requirements

• The paper must cite the use of MCE products clearly.

Example: Compound X was purchased from MedChemExpress (Monmouth Junction, NJ, USA; Cat# HY-12345)

• The submitter must be the first author, corresponding author, or a verified key member of the research group.

Non-first/corresponding authors must obtain authorization from the original authors to submit.

Reward Rules

Publication Rewards

Points are awarded based on the CAS (Chinese Academy of Sciences) Journal Partition (based on the latest 2025 version), the Journal Impact Factor (IF), and the number of MCE products cited (n).

Calculation Formula:

Total Reward Points = Base Points + (n – 1) × 500

1. Calculation Example

Researcher M published a paper in Nature (Q1, IF > 20) and cited 3 MCE products.
Reward Points = 5,000 (Base) + 500 × (3 – 1) (2 additional products) = 6,000 points

2. Supplementary Rules for Journals Not in CAS Partition:

High-impact journals (IF ≥ 10): Refer to Q1 (IF < 20) standard.
Medium-impact journals (5 ≤ IF < 10): Refer to Q2 standard.
Basic-impact journals (IF < 5): Refer to Q3 standard.

Star Value Algorithm

Star Value = Σ [IFκ × (1 + (Xκ – 1) × 10%)]

IFκ: Impact Factor of the K-th paper. For conference submissions, IFκ is uniformly counted as 8.
Xκ: Number of MCE products cited in the K-th submission.

Special Reward for High-Impact Academic Conferences

To encourage the rapid dissemination of cutting-edge research, additional points will be awarded to presenters who deliver presentations at international academic conferences indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection and clearly display MCE branding (including but not limited to MCE products or logos).

Eligibility Criteria:

• The conference's official abstract book must be indexed in Web of Science (CPCI or SCI).

• The MCE product catalog number (Cat No.) or Logo must be clearly shown in the presentation slides or conference abstract.

Reward Rules

+500 Points for each MCE product cited in the conference submission. Maximum total: 10 products.

Important Notes

• For submissions where the applicant is not the first author or corresponding author, the following confirmations are required:

1. The author must confirm that they are aware of and agree to this submission.

2. MCE reserves the right to use experimental results related to MCE products from the submitted paper in scientific communications and promotional materials, with proper attribution to the original publication.

• If the same applicant submits multiple papers or conference reports citing the same MCE product, only the submission associated with the highest-tier journal or conference will be eligible for reward calculation. Rewards and points will not be granted more than once for the same product citation.

Award Announcement

The 2026 award results will be announced on the MCE Hong Kong official website in March 2027.
