CFP-10 Protein, Mycobacterium tuberculosis (His) is the recombinant CFP-10, expressed by E. coli , with N-6*His labeled tag.

CFP-10 is a secreted protein that acts as a potent host T-cell antigen. It facilitates bacterial translocation from the host (human) phagolysosome to the host cytoplasm and may function as a chaperone to prevent uncontrolled membrane lysis by its partner EsxA.
