Biological Activity

Description

GLUT3 Protein, Human (sf9, His) is the recombinant human-derived GLUT3, expressed by sf9 insect cells , with His labeled tag. ,

Background

GLUT3 is a facilitative glucose transporter that mediates the uptake of glucose and various other monosaccharides across the cell membrane, including 2-deoxyglucose, galactose, mannose, xylose, and fucose, and likely also dehydroascorbate, but not fructose. By similarity, it is required for mesendoderm differentiation.
