TRITC-lysine-dextran (MW 70kDa) is a fluorescent label prepared by the conjugation of TRITC (HY-D0791), lysine and dextran. TRITC-lysine-dextran (MW 70kDa) serves multiple functions as an axonal tracer, non-viral nanocarrier and fixable fluorescent clonal marker. TRITC-lysine-dextran (MW 70kDa) undergoes anterograde and retrograde transport within axons of sensory neurons, and acts as a non-viral delivery system to precisely deliver biomolecules to neurons. TRITC-lysine-dextran (MW 70kDa) remains stably retained during histological preparation, thereby supporting continuous observation in live or fixed samples .

1-Palmitoyl-2-linoleoyl-sn-glycerol is a diacylglycerol (DAG)-type lipid signaling molecule found in the coralloid roots of Cycas revoluta, and serves as a major active component of the plant-secreted hormogonium-inducing factor (HIF). At a concentration of 1 nmol/disc (approximately 0.6 µg), 1-palmitoyl-2-linoleoyl-sn-glycerol can significantly induce the differentiation of filamentous aggregates of Nostoc into motile hormogonia, thereby promoting chemotaxis toward host roots and the establishment of symbiosis. This compound holds significant research and application potential in areas such as plant–microbe interactions, rhizosphere signaling pathways, and nitrogen-fixing symbiosis .

Quorum sensing is a regulatory system used by bacteria to control gene expression in response to increased cell density. This regulatory process manifests itself in a variety of phenotypes, including biofilm formation and virulence factor production. Coordinated gene expression is achieved through the production, release and detection of small diffusible signaling molecules called autoinducers. N-acylated homoserine lactones (AHLs) comprise a class of such autoinducers, each of which generally consists of a fatty acid coupled to a homoserine lactone (HSL). Modulation of bacterial quorum-sensing signaling systems to suppress pathogenesis represents a new approach to antimicrobial research for infectious diseases. AHLs differ in acyl length (C4-C18), C3 substitution (hydrogen, hydroxyl, or oxo group), and the presence or absence of one or more carbon-carbon double bonds in the fatty acid chain. These differences confer signaling specificity through the affinity of the LuxR family of transcriptional regulators. C18-HSL, one of four lipophilic long acyl side chain AHLs produced by the LuxI AHL synthase homolog SinI, is involved in quorum-sensing signaling in strains of Rhizobium meliloti (a nitrogen-fixing bacterial symbiont of the legume M. sativa) . C18-HSL and other hydrophobic AHLs tend to localize in the relatively lipophilic environment of bacterial cells and cannot diffuse freely across the cell membrane. Long-chain N-acyl homoserine lactones can be exported from cells by efflux pumps, or can be transported between communicating cells by extracellular outer membrane vesicles.

AM3-25 is a lipophilic styrene fluorescent dye commonly used as a fixable probe for nerve endings and cell membranes. AM3‑25 bears an amino group at its hydrophilic end, enabling it to cross‑link with proteins during formaldehyde or glutaraldehyde fixation and thereby immobilizing the stained label.

AM4-64 is a fixable cationic styryl fluorescent dye for nerve terminals, which can be used for vesicle cycle evaluation, endocytic pathway tracing and endocytosis detection. AM4-64 inserts into the plasma membrane, is internalized via activity- or energy-dependent endocytosis, and accumulates in vesicles, endosomal compartments, vacuolar membranes, mitochondria and endolysosomal structures. The fluorescence of AM4-64 is enhanced in the membrane-bound state. AM4-64 is applicable to relevant studies on neurons, plant and fungal cells and tissues (Ex/Em = 510/750 nm) .
