Examples include determining the hydrolysis rate of Arachidonoyl p-nitroaniline and analyzing the fatty acid amide hydrolase activity of recombinant His-FAAH purified from Dictyostelium to characterize the binding and catalytic specificity of mammalian FAAH enzymes .
