N-Benzylacrylamide can promote the synthesis of carboxymethyl cellulose-modified amphiphilic copolymers, and enhance the intermolecular association, viscoelasticity, thermal stability, as well as fire resistance/fire extinguishing performance of the resulting hydrogels .
