Hinokiflavone induces apoptosis via the reactive oxygen species-mitochondria-mediated apoptotic pathway and inhibits tumor cell migration and invasion. Hinokiflavone is a SUMO protease inhibitor against sentrin-specific protease 1 (SENP1) activity .
