Biological Activity
Sodium tetradecyl sulfate induces endothelial activation and release of endothelial particles in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC)[1]. Sodium tetradecyl sulfate can increase the expression of activation markers CD54 and CD62e in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC), promoting HUVEC cell activation[1]. Sodium tetradecyl sulfate inhibits proliferation and induces apoptosis in mouse endothelial tumor (EOMA) cells[1].
