3-O-Deacetyl-3-O-tigloylsalannin (compound 11) (1-100 μM; 48 h) inhibits the growth of HL60 human leukemia cells, AZ521 human stomach cancer cells, and SK-BR-3 human breast cancer cells with IC₅₀ values of 26.6 μM, 85.0 μM, and 31.6 μM, respectively, and shows no activity against A549 human lung cancer cells^[1].
