8-Ethyl-7-hydroxy-5-methoxy-2-methylchroman-4-one (compound 9) does not inhibit nitric oxide production in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 macrophages and is non-cytotoxic to RAW264.7 cells at concentrations up to 40 μM for 24 h[1].
