Abz-FRLKGGAPIKGV-EDDNP TFA
Abz-FRLKGGAPIKGV-EDDNP TFA is a fluorogenic substrate used to measure the enzymatic activities of protease forms, such as papain-like protease 2 (PLP2) from severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV). Abz-FRLKGGAPIKGV-EDDNP TFA has the potential for study 2019-nCoV (COVID-19) infection.

Biological Activity
Abz-FRLKGGAPIKGV-EDDNP TFA has little fluorescent emission because of the fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) between Abz and EDDNP. The apparent kcat and Km values for this fluorogenic substrate at pH 7.4 are 20 min-1 and 77 μM, respectively. The enhanced fluorescence emission upon substrate cleavage is monitored at the excitation and emission wavelengths of 320 and 420 nm, respectively, in the presence or absence of the chemical compounds assayed[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
