Biological Activity: OM-4842 is an ansamycin antibiotic and platelet aggregation inhibitor derived from Streptomyces. OM-4842 inhibits platelet aggregation induced by Adenosine 5'-diphosphate (ADP) (HY-W010918), Arachidonic acid (HY-109590), and C16-PAF (PAF) (HY-108635), and exerts growth-inhibitory activity against Doxorubicin (HY-15142A)-resistant P388 mouse leukemia cells. OM-4842 is used in research on platelet aggregation-related disorders and drug-resistant leukemia[1][2][3].
